Z-series images of the vascular bed after infection with SARS-CoV-2 virus. Bronchial organoids and vascular bed composed of HUVECs (Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells) were co-cultured in a special 3D microfluidic device. The virus was applied to the side of bronchial organoids, but not to the vascular bed side.
