(Abstract) A facile method for the preparation of antibody-quantum dot (QD) conjugates using the immunoglobulin binding (B1) domain of protein G is presented. The utility of antibody-QD conjugates using the B1 domain is demonstrated for fluorescence imaging of breast tumor cells in vitro and in vivo.
