Z-stack images of dermal collagen formation during growth from 5 to 8 centimeter body length in an axolotl
Description
The accumulation of collagen on the apical side of the dermis during growth from 5 to 8 centimeter body length was observed in Z-stack images acquired by confocal microscopy. DAR-4M was used as a fluorescent probe to visualize dermal collagen present at the beginning of the pulse-chase experiment and is referred to as DAR in this study. DAF-FM DA was subsequently applied to visualize collagen labeled at the later growth stage and is referred to as DAF in this study.
