3D rendered images of mitochondria in living HeLa cells with 3DSIM for single-photon activation
Description
The 3D rendered images of mitochondria visualized by Skylan-NS in living HeLa cells were captured with three-dimensional structured illumination microscopy (3DSIM) using single-photon activation. The distribution of mitochondria by the background in 3DSIM was obscured. Skylan-NS is a photoswitchable green fluorescent protein. CW laser is used for single-photon activation, which is more efficient and allows measurement with higher temporal resolution.
