Time-lapse images of KIF5C moving on GMPCPP (guanylyl-alpha, beta-methylene-diphosphonate)-microtubules. GMPCPP is a slowly hydrolyzable GTP analogue, and GMPCPP-microtubules were used as GTP conformation of microtubules. The dimeric KIF5C (constitutive active recombinant: K560) runs on every GMPCPP-microtubule in the field. KIF5C was genetically fused with eGFP.
