Description
Z-series images of anesthetized mouse cerebral cortex using ACSF-HEPES. The neurons at a depth of 0-700 micrometer from the surface of the brain were imaged by two-photon confocal microscopy. EYFP expressed in the layer 5 extratelencephalic-projecting (L5ET) neurons were observed in the Thy-YFP-H transgenic mouse.

Description
An anesthetized Thy-YFP-H transgenic mouse. Craniotomy and durotomy were made on the right hemisphere. The brain surface was perfused with ACSF-HEPES and perfused for 1 h under anesthesia.
