Description
In the present study, we developed practically useful GFP and RFP named h2-3 and AzaleaB5, respectively, from corals, and substituted this GFP/RFP pair for the mVenus/mCherry pair in both Fucci(SA)2 and Fucci(CA)2 probes. The resultant probes: Fucci(SA)5 and Fucci(CA)5, respectively, could monitor cell-cycle progression in HeLa cells.
