Fluorescence image of membrane and cytosolic GFP and stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) image of beta- galactosidase activity in Drosophila fat body
Description
A Drosophila fat body (genotype: hs-Flp122, UAS-mCD8-GFP; Ay-Gal4, UAS-GFP/UAS-lacZ), in which beta-galactosidase (coded by lacZ) GFP are co-expressed, was incubated with 9C^{15}N-JCR-Bn-betaGal in Schneider’s Drosophila medium containing 0.5% DMSO as a cosolvent for 3.5 h at room temperature. SRS signal was detected only in LacZ-positive cells.
